When good accountants go bad

I've been cutting Joshua's hair for nearly a year and I've become pretty skilled, though its a pretty simple haircut. I charge him in sushi-dollars. :) I find myself looking at haircuts while I'm sitting in court, thinking, that's a 3, that's a 7 (the length). But my good little accountant has gone bad. Above is the latest haircut. Also a pic of me in my last day of Monkey Jammies. :)

December What?

What's the date? December 9th? How is that possible?! The last day I remember is November 20th. I've been in some kind of Bermuda Triangle. But now finals are OVER! Woo hoo! I'm going to waste the next several days of my life catching up on my Tivo'd shows. The Monkeys are in the washer, and my semester books & notes are stacked under my desk wooing dust bunnies.

You wanna know something really sad? Some of that last paragraph is a lie. I watched about 5 hours of TV and I'm tired of it. I'm actually sitting at my desk working on a paper, because I really want to. I really missed my computer and sitting at my little study desk in my study cubby. Ouch, the truth hurts. So why all the bitching and complaining? I don't really know. I know I hear a lot of it from my friends, and likewise they hear it from me. And I semi-enjoy the pitty party. I guess most of it is summarized by my better and cuter half. On Joshua's MySpace page, he writes:

"I'm training for the Houston marathon in January so if you see me gimping around you'll know why. I don't know why I'm doing this really. Maybe I like to make people feel bad about themselves but that's not the main reason I guess. I probably just want to have people feel sorry for me. You also probably assume I'm doing it for some sort of cause. I'm not and that's only and added benefit to aid in my martyrdom and is not a factor in my running."

Yeah, we're a couple of heros, real mentor material. Sign me up to be a Big Sister. Wait, I'm a miserable example. *Has a drink before noon and continues working on her paper.*
