Monkeys In the Washer
Exams are finally over, which means monkey jammies jumped the washing machine last night. (see previous blog entry) They were such great troopers over the last two and a half weeks. But now, they are ready to give another pair of jammies a chance to keep me snugly and warm. Though seasonally inappropriate, maybe I'll don the snowmen jammies that my auntie gave me. But I guess snowmen would always be seasonally inappropriate in TX, no matter the "season," whether it be summer, or summer. Though snowmen prolly won't be as cute in haikus. (a prev blog reference... for those of you who were also stuck in exams, not checking blogs)
After a whole semester of 15 hrs/week of classes and 20 hrs/week of work, an 8-5 work day sounds so easy. This is going to be a great week. I start my summer classes, Secured Transactions and my writing project next week, but this week my evenings are totally devoted to catching up on television and going to bed as soon as the tylenol p.m. kicks in. Tonight, I fired up a Red Barron frozen pizza, thin-crust, supreme variety, and devoured the entire 10,000 calories while catching up on the last three weeks episodes of Gray's anatomy. Its about 3x the amount of fat I should have in a week. Oh, the pizza was good too. :)
Laptop and I have really bonded this semester. I thought I would be sick of her after exams, but today is the first day of freedom and I find myself curled up in under my snugly blanky in my sleigh bed warmed by my friend, laptop. I think she needs a name. Any ideas?
